The school, which is located in the centre of the town, is a relatively spacious building ensemble, some of which are 4-storey, in contrast to the surrounding residential development. The renovation, which was necessary from a structural engineering point of view, and the structural additions were intended to achieve a stronger integration into the built environment. The essential design element is a curved, covered walkway, providing a sheltered connection between the individual buildings and gives the schoolyard a distinctive character.
