The new Smart FOODFACTORY building, which is being built directly on the new campus boulevard, will be used to do research on and develop digitalisation and improvement processes in the food industry. In addition to a large workshop in which entire production lines can be simulated, project rooms, laboratory-like workshops and test rooms for sensor technology are planned and will be supplemented by open space office areas and other working areas.
