One of the largest certified passive house estates in Germany is being built in the “Zietenterrassen” conversion area in Göttingen, a former barracks site. With around 130 residential units and spread over 5 construction phases, 2 types of apartment buildings are being built here along a separate project road, which will later be dedicated to the public. The high-quality construction with fibre cement curtain-wall facing with air-space achieves the passive house standard and meets the requirements of the KfW 40. Our project was recognised by the 2018 Lower Saxony Timber Construction Award. We are delighted to have received this award from Minister Barbara Otte-Kinast.
